[About the T-shirt and scarf experience]
Indigo dyeing using lye fermentation requires a full day of lye removal to ensure the indigo color is properly fixed. Therefore, items such as T-shirts and stoles cannot be taken home on the day of the experience.
After the initial processing to remove any bitterness, the item will be finished and then mailed to you at a later date (shipping costs will be charged separately). It will take some time for the item to arrive, but please enjoy the beautiful indigo color while you wait.

[About the indigo dyeing experience]
At AoAwo Naruto Resort, you can enjoy an authentic indigo dyeing experience. However, due to the characteristics of the indigo dye solution, there is a limit to the amount that can be dyed in a day.

Criteria for indigo dyeing experience

The maximum amount of indigo dye that can be used per day is one vat.Up to 3200gThis is the standard. If the amount exceeds this limit, the indigo dye will not work the next day, so we have established the following criteria.
■ (1 jar) Up to 2 T-shirts per day :
Dyeing a T-shirt weighing approximately 200g six to eight times will result in a total weight of approximately 1200g to 1600g. Performing this process twice will use a total of approximately 3200g of dye.
■(1 jar)Handkerchiefs are limited to 4 people per day.
If four people are working around the dye bottle, it is possible to dye the fabric approximately 6 to 8 times.

*Please note that the indigo dyeing process may be suspended unexpectedly depending on the condition of the indigo dye solution.
Note)
If indigo dye gets on your hands or clothes, it may cause discoloration. Please wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.
Please inquire about the availability of items other than handkerchiefs, as there is a limited number of reservations available.
